Terms & Conditions

1. Appointments & Punctuality

  • Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.

  • Late arrivals may result in reduced service time or rescheduling to avoid delays for other clients.
     

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the grooming service.

  • Repeat no-shows may require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.
     

3. Pricing & Quotes

  • All prices are estimates and based on breed, size, coat condition, and behavior.

  • Final pricing is at the groomer’s discretion and may vary.

  • If the final cost differs by more than $10 from the original quote, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
     

4. Health & Vaccinations

  • All pets must be up to date on core vaccinations (e.g., rabies, distemper, parvovirus). Proof may be requested.

  • Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral concerns prior to your appointment.
     

5. Pet Behavior & Safety

  • We reserve the right to refuse or stop services for pets that pose a risk to themselves, other pets, or staff due to aggression, extreme anxiety, or health concerns.

  • If your dog exhibits excessive aggression or stress, you may be charged a handling fee or asked to collect them early.
     

6. De-Matting & Coat Condition

  • De-matting is charged at $1 per minute and may require prior consultation.

  • Severely matted pets may need to be clipped short for their safety and comfort.

  • We will not cause pain or undue stress to any pet to preserve coat length.
     

7. Fleas, Ticks & Skin Conditions

  • If fleas or ticks are found, your dog will be treated with a flea & tick shampoo ($15 fee), and you may be advised to consult your vet.

  • Dogs with open wounds, skin infections, or contagious conditions will be refused service and referred to a veterinarian.
     

8. Creative Grooming

  • Creative services (coloring, mohawks, etc.) are subject to availability and groomer discretion.

  • A waiver may be required for use of coloring products or specialty styles.
     

9. Liability

  • While we take every precaution to ensure your dog’s safety, Oh My Dawg Grooming is not liable for pre-existing health issues, injuries resulting from matted coats, or allergic reactions to grooming products.

  • Any accidents or incidents will be reported immediately and documented.
     

10. Photos & Social Media

  • We may take photos of your pet during or after grooming for use on our social media or website.

  • Please let us know if you do not consent to this.
